The consultant needs skincare experience, or at minimum cosmetics experience, and experience entering new markets with skincare/beauty products. (From an Australian base preferred).
Key Deliverables
- Performing research on prospective markets and categorising and prioritising entry strategies (global, regional, multi-domestic)
- Identifying risks and mitigants to ensure success
- Identifying and supporting the orchestration and fostering of local, regional and global distribution partners
- Building a business case, and execution plan with supporting accountabilities
Skills and experience required
Proven track record in off shore expansion strategy and execution experience
- Professional Background: Over 10 years of combined experience in consulting and the cosmetics industry, with a focus on strategic growth and international business expansion.
- Expertise: Proven track record in identifying, developing, and implementing growth strategies. Specialises in leveraging capabilities to drive offshore business expansion.
- Project Experience: Has led multiple cross-border expansion projects that involved strategic planning, market analysis, and the successful launch of products and services in new markets.
- Consulting Skills: Strong advisory skills, able to provide insights and guidance on market entry strategies, competitive analysis, and partnership development. Experienced in working with senior management and C-suite executives to align strategic initiatives with business goals.
- Outcome-Oriented: Focused on delivering actionable advice that aligns with client objectives and ensures practical implementation of growth strategies with measurable results.
Logistics:
Start date: ASAP Duration: short 2-3 days initial scan of existing capabilities and plans and workshop with founders, and then if there’s a fit, a longer 6-month+ part-time (2-3 days per week) to conduct the market research, identify priority markets, channel strategy to enter those markets and implementation plans.
Location: Australia
Rate: To be negotiated with the short listed consultants but expected to be commensurate with seniority so approximately $1,800-$2,250 per day net to consultant
