Scope of the Role
The client is currently managing the implementation of Dynamics CRM, Marketing and Business Central, and is looking for an individual to sit between the project and their Finance Team, to assist with the testing and development of the system whilst having a detailed financial background to be able to understand their finance structure and processes to ensure that the implementation is fit for purpose.
Specific activities include but are not limited to:
- Work with Finance to understand the financial structures in place in legacy systems and ensure that these are reflected in Business Central
- Review and confirm requirements, test scripts and financial configuration of Business Central
- Support the migration and remapping of data from legacy systems to Business Central
- Undertake QA against the delivered solution to ensure financial requirements are met
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with the business, providing training, support and general guidance to Finance Users
Although this is in support of a Business Central implementation, the priority is for the individual to have strong finance skills and background to ensure that the individual can bridge the gap between the systems project and the finance community ultimately to assist in gaining sign off from Finance on the implementation.
Skills required
- Financial background with extensive knowledge of Financial Processes, preferably from an Accounting background
- Experience in the testing of Finance Systems, Experience of systems and Business Change projects covering all aspects of Finance
- Experience of Business Central / Dynamics NAV beneficial but not essential

- Rate: £500/day payable to the successful consultant
