Consultant Gig #740-AUS-Commercial Due Diligence Specialists

They are working with ICG to supplement their internal commercial due diligence capabilities with a panel of specialists that they can draw upon from time to time as the need arises.

The roles are ONLY FOR VERY SENIOR AND EXPERIENCED SPECIALISTS who MUST HAVE Commercial Due Diligence experience or have provided expert legal opinions in their chosen field.

 
It is expected that these specialist areas will include but not be limited to:
  • Cyber Security
  • Technology Systems suitability and resilience
  • Supply contracts (procurement)
  • International Trade Agreements
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Others as suggested by candidates or demanded by the client
 
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following in their chosen field:
  • Deep and publicly recognisable expertise
  • Track record of 10 plus years in their chosen field
  • Experience with Due diligence or expert testimony
  • Current Professional Indemnity Insurance (though ICG will also provide for forthcoming assignments)
  • Strong communication skills and consulting gravitas

 

Logistics:

 

Start: The panel will be assembled during late March-early April.
Work will commence in mid 2021 and be ongoing across specialist fields on an as needed basis.
Location: Australia wide – a mix of onsite and remote arrangements
Interstate travel and accommodation if required will be paid by the client
Rates: Projects will vary significantly in frequency and duration. The client may well ask for a tiered due diligence approach in half-day blocks. The hourly rate will be commensurate with expertise but would be expected to be in the order of $250-$350 an hour net.
