Consultant Gig #906–UK–Organisation Solutions Leader–Director

The client is our global strategic partner, a major Financial Services firm with HQ in London but several regional offices throughout the UK. The role would mean a lot of time spent in London, but the successful applicant could be based outside in one of the other regional offices – e.g Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Reading, Bristol etc.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Leading expert on more of the following domains: Organisation Development matters, including Org culture, Org Structure, Agile organisations, Future of work, workforce planning – with at least one strong personal passion
  • Client relations management (“farming”)
  • Business development – marketing materials, proposals
  • Thought leadership – publications online and conferences
  • Managing Internal and external pool of talents – project mobilisation
  • Project Delivery – client contact and quality assurance
  • Project support tools and template
  • Product and solution development, continuous improvement
  • Client co-creation projects
  • Project scheduling and economics (utilisation, recovery)
  • Director level with Partner potential

Skills and experience required are:

  • 15 years plus professional career, executive experience
  • Entrepreneurial or large consulting firm background
  • Client side, industry experience is an advantage
  • Lead role in related client projects either as consultant or internal stakeholder
  • Thought leadership track record, ‘including speaker experience’ research and publishing
  • Product or Service development experience, innovation
  • Project Management experience
  • Client Relationship Management

Education and Community:

  • Business Social Sciences, or Organisational psychology degree
  • Recent self study – learning agility proof
  • Membership in Professional communities, networks, (e.g CIPD, LinkedIn, ICG)

Logistics:

Start: The role is full time and work is likely to commence ASAP, January 2023. 

Location: HQ is in London but, for the right applicant, living outside London is a possibility.  

Rates: The rate to ICG applicants is in the region of £90K to £135K per annum depending on location and experience.
