Situation
A long-standing ICG consultant had been asked to bid on a project but was unable to convert because their team was missing a critical subject matter expert. In this particular case in the area of Governance.
The winning boutique led by Andrew.Hone@
Solution
After running their first patented BAF(R) process they were presented with four leading curated candidates and after scanning their ICG professional profiles, Andrew interviewed two candidates and elected to present them both to his client. His client immediately responded positively to ICG Professional Kerry McGoldrick and asked Andrew to incorporate Kerry into his proposal.
Outcome
The result was the project immediately progressed with Andrew retaining full control of the project (i.e. not have a critical component run by a possible competitor) and the client getting the very best fit-for-purpose consultant in Australia to support the role
ICG charges the lowest platform fee amongst it competitors of just 10% of the consultant’s wholesale fee. The boutique is at liberty to charge their client whatever premium optimises their relationship.
