Working with the ICG engagement lead, the client’s cross-functional teams, and the regulator, the program director will be responsible for developing and executing the delivery of the client’s action closure process through a program of independent review. 

 
Senior Remediation Program Director 
 
The successful professional will have likely performed similar tasks previously in a financial services organisation and/or have over 10-15 years of remediation program consulting and advisory experience with a focus on strong governance, accountability and a history of delivery. 
 
Due to the nature of the program, they will have experience in various areas across the financial services and regulatory environment combined with superior program management capability in highly complex organisations. Specific experience in the following areas is required, with a referenceable track record of/proven expertise/leadership in:

  • Australian financial services regulation understanding
  • ability to work across a complex enterprise with numerous stakeholders
  • attention to detail and the highest quality of execution
  • highly developed issue and risk management skills
  • an internal and external audit mindset
  • 1st hand experience in working with Australian regulators (APRA, ASIC)
  • advanced influencing and negotiating skills
  • leadership and strategic thinking
  • controls and business processing skills
  • strong understanding of level 1-2-3 risk framework, responsibilities, accountabilities, and reporting
  • end-to-end product management responsibility development strong communications (oral and written) and interviewing skills
  • customer first mindset
  • retail and business banking product, service, and process expertise

  • Logistics: Starting immediately
  • Start Date:  16 June 2020
  • Duration: initially as a 3-month program with potential 9-month extension.
  • Location: Remote-based role for the initial engagement with candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
  • Travel:  Necessary business travel to client location will be covered.
  • Rate:The gross daily rate will be $2,500+ based on candidate experience level and fit and finalised with the client upon selection.
