The client has a central role in the operation of Australia’s financial system
- To work alongside other ICG professionals providing strategic advisory services on the future-state design of an eDiscovery architecture to future proof the client’s digital forensic and eDiscovery architecture.
- Proven experience in the architecture, design or implementation of eDiscovery architectures, integration across forensic tools and management of data lineage and audit trails within regulatory bodies or legal practices
Key Deliverables
The key deliverable will be a Report which addresses:
- Current state overview, including SWOT analysis
- Target future state, including explanation of the rationale for options selected, including:

- Long term data storage and access, ensuring data integrity and availability over time
- Preserving robust data lineage, audit trails and data quality checks to ensure data preservation, traceability, security, and compliance.
- Scalability and performance considerations for future data volumes and complex processing requirements
- Integration, transition between and enhancement of other forensic tools, such as Cellebrite, X-Ways, Encase, Forensic Explorer, and Magnet
- Options to realise malware ringfencing and protected materials through portioning, proper treatment of protected materials and ensuring effective malware management while safeguarding sensitive information.
- Assessment of challenges and mitigations to avoid vendor lock-in.
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience advising regulatory agencies or legal organisations on eDiscovery technology strategy and data management, with a focus on Enterprise and/or Solution architecture
- Established network across the regulatory/legal industries
- Experience with solutions/cloud services support data management, data lifecycle and protection of sensitive/legally privilege information
- Demonstrable experience in eDiscovery process configuration and architecture design
- Knowledge of current eDiscovery applications and platforms
- Proven oral and written communication skills
Logistics:
Start date:Tender Response – Late March/early April; Engagement – from early May Duration: Engagement scheduled for 4 months part-time, with option of extension to end November
Location: Remote, but able to work Australian business hours
Rate: Daily rate to the consultant will be up to $2,000 AUD/day depending on level of experience and seniority

APT’s must be lodged within 48 hours. We will review all APT’s and select the best 3 for the client.
The client will then conduct interviews. Please note that the net rate quoted is an ICG Affiliate rates available for ICG Members only.
