Hub Overview
ICG South Africa opened in Cape Town in 2026. It gives South African organisations direct access to the ICG network: senior contract consultants, project teams, interim leadership and subject matter experts, assembled per engagement from a global platform of independent consultants. The depth is senior-only, assembled for the work rather than held on standby. The hub contracts and invoices locally.
Hub Expertise
ICG South Africa is a South African registered entity run from Cape Town. The opening practice focus is execution readiness, strategic risk and governance alignment under King V, with business architecture and capability maturity, target operating model design, M&A execution risk and post-merger integration, and portfolio governance beneath them. Beyond that, the hub reaches the full ICG practice set through the network. An engagement starts with a brief: it goes to the network anonymously, consultants apply, and a shortlist of up to three comes back. ICG has operated since 2011 and brings 5,000 professionals through its global platform.

Hub Leadership
Greg Zuccarini leads the South Africa hub from Cape Town and also leads ICG’s Strategy Execution and Strategic Risk practice globally. He brings more than thirty years in strategy execution, strategic risk management and business architecture: in banking at Nedbank and Standard Bank, then in consulting across financial services, retail, healthcare, telecommunications and the public sector, in South Africa, pan-Africa and Mauritius. He holds an MSc in Strategic Management from Edinburgh Business School, is a Certified Member of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management and Chair of its South Africa Chapter and is on the committee for PMI’s Standard for Portfolio Management.
