To support this transition, our client will host a Strategy Week in late April 2024 to define its growth agenda and align the enterprise behind clear transformation priorities.
ICG seeks a seasoned payments expert to lead and facilitate Strategy Week – a four-day strategic offsite with our client’s Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The expert will guide the team in identifying the most promising growth pathways and architecting a transformation roadmap that supports scalable, sustainable enterprise performance. This is both a facilitation and advisory role, requiring deep payments industry knowledge and proven experience in enterprise transformation.
Key Deliverables:
Pre-Session Discovery & Design
- Conduct pre-engagement discovery sessions with key executives
- Shape the agenda, structure, and focus areas of Strategy Week
- Prepare discussion frameworks and guiding materials for participants
Strategy Week Facilitation (April 29 – May 2)
- Day 1: Board & ELT alignment on market position, growth ambition, and transformation readiness
- Day 2 & 3: Deep-dive strategy workshops with ELT & LeadCo to explore growth opportunities and define strategic priorities
- Day 4: Synthesis and commitment to strategic objectives, OKRs, and transformation roadmap
Post-Session Advisory
- Deliver a concise, actionable Strategy Summary capturing key insights, growth levers, and transformation roadmap
- Provide input into financial and operational planning based on Strategy Week outcomes
Skills and experience required
- Proven track record in digital payments, cross-border transactions, enterprise platforms, and financial infrastructure
- Experience advising fintechs or financial institutions on market expansion, product innovation, and business model evolution
- Demonstrated success leading organisations through platform shifts, scaling operations, and embedding OKRs or enterprise execution models
- Skilled in guiding diverse executive leadership groups through ambiguity to clarity and alignment
- Ability to synthesise insights and convert strategy into clear messaging and actionable outcomes

Location: Strategy Week in Sydney
Rate: The daily net rate for the consultant will be negotiated with the shortlisted candidates.
- The engagement model is a fixed-fee arrangement.
