Consultant Gig #1024 SYDNEY–Strategy–Strategy Engagement Manager

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience leading strategy engagements, have strong client relationships and be able to direct consulting teams to deliver quality outputs.

Key Focus Areas

The role will focus on supporting the client to define and assess strategic pathways and the change required to realise these.  Coupled with oversight of a financial model capturing current state financial reality with overlays for different assumptions and levers.

This role will be lead the ICG onsite team, being responsible for quality deliver and  working collaboratively with client team members from across the organisation to capture insights and current baselines

Key Deliverables

  1. Support client team through the engagement process, ensuring timely inputs and review of interim deliverables
  2. Assist with intellectual and expert level challenge to the drafts prepared by the team
  3. Assist with review of current status assessment, future state definition, implementable road map and risk mitigation strategies
  4. Assist with provision of sample high quality deliverables to stretch the team and qualify the credentials of the team to the client
  5. Supply expert perspectives on sources of additional data, likely customer imperatives, likely approaches, and trade offs that need to be factored into a decision model to identify the recommended solution
  6. Attend key client stakeholder meetings and milestone presentations

Skills and experience required

  • Engaging with high-calibre consulting team to influence and improve their thinking
  • Provision of compelling and robust frameworks, taxonomies, and solution specifications
  • Professional engagement with senior stakeholders
  • You will have worked in a similar role with an MBB or leading boutique.
  • Consumer media sector experience (preferred not required

Start date & Duration:  Immediate 16 March 2026, with an expectation of 6-Weeks

Location: (client site-based)

Rate: The rate will be commensurate with seniority and experience and is expected to be in the range of $1,700 to $2,000.
