A long-standing banking client requested support to thoroughly transform their collections and recoveries operating model. Their arrears function was constrained by legacy processes and widely inconsistent data, preventing proactive management and increasing operational costs across the board.
ICG assembled a multidisciplinary team including arrears specialists, AI professionals, and a tech and data expert panel. Over 9 weeks, ICG collaborated directly with the client to complete an ATOM diagnostic, update the arrears treatment pathways, conduct benchmarking and best practices research, and design the target operating model. The result was a tailored operating model that answered the client’s needs, with an actionable implementation roadmap to implement it.
The ATOM framework is the newest entry into ICG’s proprietary products, specially designed for Arrears functions and customisable for multiple geographies.
