The end client is a major institutional health organization. They are seeking to work with a trusted supplier to deliver a PESTEL, SWOT and ecosystem analysis of the EU public health sphere, and changes there-in since 2020 (the onset of COVID-19).
Our global strategic partner is a preferred supplier of consulting services to this institutional health organization and they seek a market research and analysis expert to support the delivery of the project.
The selected candidate will work within a team of between 5 and 10 staff, reporting to a senior manager. They will be expected to conduct document and literature reviews, interviews, focus groups, and potentially contribute to a survey. The market researcher will work alongside the team to produce three deliverables:
Workstream 1: PESTEL analysis – the PESTEL analysis should contain a description of the political, economic, social, technological, environmental, and legal factors, based on a deep understanding of macro forces and drivers of change and on the summary of insights of global public health experts (on mid-term scenarios) for the environment the organization is operating in.
Workstream 2: Analysis of key players in Public Health in Europe – and in specific cases worldwide, taking into consideration the changes implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. It should include a description of how the main changes in the public health landscape have affected these organizations.
Workstream 3: SWOT analysis of organization will take into account the strengthening of their mandate and resources, and the response given during the COVID-pandemic.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of market research in public health
- Good knowledge of EU public health sphere (preferably including infectious diseases)
- Good knowledge of the technological trends in society and in the work in public health, including the digital transformation in public health, e.g., investments in new technologies, timeliness and accuracy of data collection for infectious diseases while applying common standards, digital skills of the public health experts, use of artificial intelligence for data gathering, processing and analysis
Start date: The project is to start in November 2022 and run through to summer of 2023
APT’s must be lodged within 48 hours. We will review all APT’s and select the best 3 for the client. The client will then conduct interviews.
