The main objective of this assignment is to support our strategic partner’s internal audit redesign work for the client.   They are looking for experienced consultants able to act as Oil and Gas SMEs to help them understand the risks inherent in various components of Oilindustry operations, and from that work with our partner to determine the necessary controls to manage that risk.  The strategic partner expects candidates to have significant understanding of upstream or downstream activities and be capable of developing credible relationships senior members of the client, and their supporting teams.

 

In addition the strategic partner is also looking for experts able to facilitate the digitisation of the new design internal audit function. Here some familiarity with either extractive industries or digitisation of finance/audit functions would be helpful.

 

​​The consultants will be required to have the following minimum requirements:

 

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil Industry (upstream or downstream)
  • Strong consulting and advisory skills diagnosis and trouble-shooting skills
  • For any digital expert at least five years designing building and implementing digital initiatives in extraction industries or fiancé/audit functions. 

 

Logistics: 

Start date:​ ​The initial phase of the project will be three months, but selected candidates should expect the duration of the project to last for over a year.

Location: ​​The assignment will be initially remote but once current travel restrictions are lifted, candidates should expect to spend periods of time on location in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, at the client’s premises.

Rate:  ​ Daily net rate to consultants, depending on skills and experience will be in the region of GBP 800 to GBP 1,200 per diem.   All reasonable travel, subsistence and accommodation costs in line with client travel policy will be met.
