- Support the incident management process, including:
- Educating and guiding business stakeholders on the process,
- Investigating and validating facts, to identify relevant compliance breaches,
- Challenging remediation approach
- Control design effectiveness of preventative controls
- Support breach assessment, monitoring and reporting to ASIC including implementation of new processes to support compliance with the Strengthening Breach Reporting (SBR) regulatory change
Skills and experience required:
- Relevant experience (2 to 3 years+) in a risk and compliance, operational, consultancy or audit role with some exposure to operational risk, compliance or financial risk activities
- Good knowledge of funds management industry
- Some understanding of financial markets
- Experience or exposure to compliance / risk frameworks or operational risk activities such as logging incidents, control self-assessment testing or key risk indicators
- Demonstrated ability to think, plan and act independently / strategically Good report writing, presentation and verbal communications skills
Logistics:
Start: Immediate September start, duration 3-months
Location: Sydney preferred, but Melbourne and Brisbane will be considered for exceptional candidates
Rates: The net rate to the consultant will be $1,250 + GST per day
