The successful accredited professional will be accountable for:

Working with a mixed client and ICG team to identify potential and current business synergies amongst operating divisions;
Contribute to framing the diagnostic and prioritization for opportunities identified;
Creating compelling presentations that illustrate net benefits and timing.

Business Improvement Consultant:

Having performed a series of restructures and shared-services implementation our client is reviewing its cost structure for potential synergies across its operating business units.  This land transport business enjoys significant market presence and seeks to take performance to the next level through a lean, sustainable business model.

The successful accredited professional will have deep experience in the land transport industry (road, rail, warehousing, logistics) including some knowledge of statutory requirements in Australia. They will have demonstrated track record of lean business model design and implementation, including experience with multi-divisional company cost improvement.

Ideally the accredited professional will have significant experience in:

  • 5+ years as a management consultant or industry executive
  • Complex multi-business, multi-geography enterprises
  • Land transport with significant geographic reach and multi-model carriage
  • Economics of land transport operations, including financial and management accounting treatment of the business model income statement and balance sheet
  • Contracts management

 

Logistics:

Start Date: The engagement will commence 5 September 2022 Duration, 8-12 weeks, with potential to extend based on outcomes.

Location:  The client location is Brisbane, with a requirement for minimal four days on site with the project team. Offshore candidates will be considered with reasonable travel and accommodation expenses being negotiated with the successful candidates.
Rates: The daily net rate for the Business Improvement Consultant will be AU $1,400 subject to experience
