Consultant Gig #925–UK–Energy Sector SME

The service request is for an Energy Sector Subject Matter Expert to support a growth strategy consultancy project with an energy provider.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • You would need to have an ambition to explore the development and scaling of new growth and diversification opportunities (leveraging existing capabilities/products or building new) to support a potential international strategy.
  • The role will require targeting advisory inputs as well as the review of outputs, advising on suitably growth/diversification opportunities, the rationale and evaluation.

 

Skills and experience required are: 

  • Professional Background: Over 15 years of combined experience in consulting and the energy industry, with a focus on strategic growth and international business expansion.
  • Expertise: Proven track record in identifying, developing, and implementing growth strategies within the energy sector. Specialises in leveraging existing capabilities and innovating new products and services to drive business expansion.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of global energy markets, with specific expertise in areas such as smart metering technologies, renewable energy, and digital transformation in utilities.
  • Project Experience: Has led multiple cross-border projects that involved strategic planning, market analysis, and the successful launch of energy products and services in new markets.
  • Consulting Skills: Strong advisory skills, able to provide insights and guidance on market entry strategies, competitive analysis, and partnership development. Experienced in working with senior management and C-suite executives to align strategic initiatives with business goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, adept at working within multi-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholder relationships across different cultural and business environments.
  • Outcome-Oriented: Focused on delivering actionable advice that aligns with client objectives and ensures practical implementation of growth strategies with measurable results.
Logistics:

Start: June 2024.

Location: UK/ Remote.

Rates: Daily rate to ICG applicants will be £1000 per day depending on level of experience for circa 30 hours work. 

Close date: No later than 20th May 2024 17:00 BST (UK).

APT’s must be lodged within 48 hours. We will review all APT’s and select the best 3 for the client. The client will then conduct interviews.
