Consultant Gig #980–Sydney–Banking Technology Operating Model SMEs and Project Lead

ICG is preparing its proposal and seeks the services of suitably qualified and very experienced technology consultants to assist with finalisation of the proposal and execution of the project.

The project is world class in nature, and will require a TOM that satisfies the needs of a complex multi-dimensional financial services player (retail and wholesale), with the fusion of common and leading edge technologies for its team and local and global clients

  • Support the formulation of a new technology operating model with subject matter expertise
  • Assist with identification and inclusion of relevant local and global benchmarking organisations
  • Assist with recommendations around the formulation methodology (especially a more fit for purpose approach than standard practices)

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  •  Review and refinements to the draft proposal and inclusion of your ICG professional profile as part of team/expert panel/project lead role
  • Assist with intellectual and expert level challenge to the drafts prepared by the team
  • Assist with review of current status assessment, future state definition, implementable road map and risk mitigation strategies
  • Assist with identification and involvement of key benchmark sites around the globe
  • Assist with provision of sample high quality deliverables to stretch the team and qualify the credentials of the team to the client
  • Supply expert perspectives on sources of additional data, likely technology imperatives, likely approaches, and trade offs that need to be factored into a decision model to identify the recommended solution
  • Attend key client stakeholder meetings and milestone presentations

Desirable Skills:

  • Engaging with high-calibre consulting team to influence and improve their thinking
  • Provision of compelling and robust frameworks, taxonomies, and solution specifications
  • Professional engagement with Senior private and public sector level CTOs
Logistics:

Start: Starting before the holidays Duration:  2-4 months, support will be on a full-time basis for the project lead and a part-time basis for others and be propositional to ability to add value – we anticipate 1-2.5 days a week depending on the stage of the project

Rates: The daily rate to the consultant will be AUD$2,500 per day for SMEs reflecting the seniority required and part time nature of the role and $2,000 for the project lead.
