  • Surface Manganese Mine | MOS program Diagnostics, Design, and Implementation across Integrated Mine Planning (Pit to Port) and Mine Operational routines to improve organisational alignment. Conducted Diagnostic Brown Paper, KPI Development & Process Maps, redesigning the Organisational Structure to embed Leader Standard Work disciplines. Uplift in Ore production of circa 1,800 tonnes / day – averaging 10 additional 90t trucks per shift within 4 months of deployment.
  • Underground Gold Mine | Led the deployment of a MOS program across integrated planning and work execution uplifting leadership capability by implementing Leader Standard Work routines. Realigned meeting cascades and redefined KPIs delivering a production uplift of 400 tonnes / day.
  • Surface Coal Mines – 8 Mines | Implemented a MOS deployment project across Mobile Fleet & Fixed Plant Maintenance, Mine Production & Mine Planning covering 23 workstreams for a tier one mining company. Conducted diagnostics, design & implementation impacting 500+ mining professionals, 8 x maintenance workshops & circa 700 items of fixed plant delivering 600+ hours of management coaching across 32 Supervisors, 6 x Superintendents and 1 x General Manager. Delivered productivity and efficiency benefits of circa $40M.
  • Surface Gold Mine | Workstream Lead for the deployment of a Management Operating System (MOS) Implementation at a major Gold Mine in PNG across Mining Operations & Maintenance. Worked with management to apply 13 x MOS Practices to standardise ways of working, improve processes, lower costs, improve maintenance practices & coach senior and line management to embed the new ways of working. Delivered circa $25M in annualised productivity and efficiency gains.
  • Underground Gold/Copper Mine | Led the program to enhance underground mining development metrics to deliver a 40%+ improvement in development meters (600 m/mth to 850 m/mth) within 3 months of deployment
  • Surface Gold Mine | Production Improvement – Directed initiatives to enhance overburden stripping rates, achieving an increase in daily overburden production rate by 2700 tonnes/day (additional 9 x trucks/shift) within 4 months of deployment.

Rob has executed tenured and consulting roles at the highest level including CEO, MD, COO, EGM, GM with the likes of BHP,  Anglo American, BMA, Evolution Mining, South 32, GE Mining, Bucyrus Australia, Caterpillar Mining, Hitachi Mining Equipment, Bureau Veritas, Hagemeyer Electrical Group and Repco.

  • CEO & MD of Moreton Resources – a former ASX-listed coal exploration company and mineral development company’s.
  • COO of GE Mining – oversight of one of Queensland’s largest truck and shovel mining contracting company’s in the metalliferous and coal sectors.
  • Executive General Manager – Caterpillar Australia (formerly Bucyrus) – direct management of 2 Dragline construction projects for Tier 1 Mining companies.
  • Various GM roles with Hitachi Mining, Repco and Hagemeyer.
